The children planted their 4 x 4 raised bed last weekend as part of the ‘Make A Difference Day: Keeping it Green!’ Here are photos of their Kale and Marigold’s. I drove past the GW Montessori/Elementary School today to see what their garden crew has been up to. I was pleased to find many (and perhaps up to a dozen) large garden areas (approx. 20 x 20 plots a piece) for the community and school. Stopped by the Darmstadt Tepee Garden today to check up on the bean gardens. They are doing terrific. Here is a photo. We are thinning them out and encouraging them to grow up at the moment.
