Bike Fest and Greenline Bike Tour – May 4th

May 4th – YMCA Bike Fest and Greenline Bike Tour
Bike Fest will run from 11-3 at the YMCA of Kingston and Ulster.
At 1pm the YMCA and Bike Friendly Kingston will lead a community bike-ride that will follow along the proposed route of the Kingston Greenline, from midtown to the Rondout. If you would like to register to participate in the ride, visit http://goo.gl/G4dlGz.
There will also be bike games for kids, maintenance workshops, and adult riding clinics.
Donate your old bike for a tax deduction and a chance to win a membership to the YMCA.
Bike fest is free and open to all in the community but registration for the bike rides is required!

Clean Sweep 2014

May 3rd – Kingston Clean Sweep
On Saturday, May 3rd from 9am – noon the Kingston Land Trust is participating in the Friends of Historic Kingston and City of Kingston’s 5th annual Clean Sweep. We hope to tackle two projects: a cooperative clean-up on the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail, organized by the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail Association, and a clean-up on the future Kingston Point Rail Trail.
