Live Well Kingston is a city-endorsed coalition of organizations, businesses and individuals that work together to improve the environment, culture, and opportunities in Kingston, NY for residents to lead healthier lives.  Live Well Kingston is championed by the City of Kingston as part of the Mayor’s Wellness Initiative.

Kingston City Parks and Recreation creates community through people, parks, and programs.  They run programs such as Yoga in the Park and Movies Under the Stars in order to follow their mission of, “Creating Community through people, parks, and programs.

Kingston City Gardens was created by Rebecca Martin and was born out of her Victory Gardens Project with KingstonCitizens.org. In its current form, the project involves students, volunteers, master gardeners and educators.  Click here to find a city garden near you.

Kingston CaresThe Dig Kids works with Kingston youth to grow food, learn farming practices, encourage entrepreneurship, beautification, pride and good health through hands on farming experiences.

South Pine Street City Farm A small urban farm that serves as a demonstration site for permaculture techniques,  sustainable agriculture and regenerative farming practices which shows the community how they can feed themselves.

The Bluestone Committee is a City project with some KLT members involved and resulted in a consultants Bluestone  report.

The African American History Committee is in the editing phase of the historic nominations for the African American sites.
