Position with the South Pine Street City Farm

From the farmers:  For 2018 we are searching for one or two people to join us as active, guiding farmers at South Pine Street City Farm in Kingston. We grow vegetables and are looking for a person or persons with love and a knack for farming and a deep appreciation of the earth, urban farming, and organic methods. We are want to be a diverse, bilingual, and open farm.  As co-farmer, you might run the farm stand, envision new directions, help grow vegetables, oversee our composting, connect the farm to customers and people of all backgrounds in the local community. Any profit will be shared.

The farm is on a quarter acre lot across from Binnewater Ice Company on South Pine Street off Greenkill Avenue in Kingston. The farm was started six years ago by Jessica Clark and Rebecca Martin as a land-matching project of the Kingston Land Trust. Current farmers are Joel Zenie and Trish Hawkins.
