The Kingston Land Trust’s Yoga in the Park! Program Ends Labor Day Weekend.

The Kingston Land Trust’s free “Yoga in the Park” program had a great year promoting weekly yoga in two of the city of Kingston’s parks in 2012. The program will conclude on Labor Day weekend.

Residents and visitors enjoyed yoga in Cornell Park with Shakti Yoga Studios and in Academy Green Park with Mudita Yoga Studios from Spring to late Summer. Both began their successful series weekly on Memorial Day weekend.

Shawn Harrison of Mudita Yoga Studio, now in their second year as a partner with the Kingston Land Trust, reported “We definitely experienced growth this year with the weekly offering instead of monthly,” said Harrison.

Residents can enjoy the Kingston Land Trust’s free “Yoga in the Park” in its final weekend on Saturday, September 1st at Academy Green Park at 4:00pm. There will NOT BE YOGA IN CORNELL PARK ON SUNDAY AT IT’S 10:30am TIME. Downtown participants are encouraged to join Mudita this weekend in Academy Green Park on Saturday instead.

The Kingston Land Trust thanks all of its partners and wishes the Kingston community a healthy fall season.
