Future of African Burial Ground: Community Meeting
The Kingston Land Trust (KLT), Harambee Kingston NY, Scenic Hudson and Northeast Farmers of Color Land Trust (NEFOC) will co-host a community meeting to share the draft plan for transferring the Pine Street African Burial Ground to Harambee with protections on the land.
Agenda:
- Overview of May 2019 purchase by the KLT and the role of the partners in the protection
- Presentation of draft transfer and long-term protection plan
- Community feedback on plan
- Updates on Youth Design Team, filming of a documentary and programs and events for 2020
